Summary of Year 2018/2019: A year of studying Image, combining years of concepts and creating a global OAAS framework

Image as a service (IaaS) is the latest innovation within an innovation pathway that has led me to identify social value within data previously considered complex and fixed in the area of big data. Beauty really isn’t skin deep, and it is clear from research that there are technical components as to what makes an individual attractive and well regarded by their peers.
It’s clear that the perception of others within an environment contributes to the global value of observation as a service providing critical data on why humans act as they do, not in a psychosocial format but rather as part of a technical framework.

Summary of Year 2016/2017: A year of Consent GDPR and laggard requirement of consent as a service

The development of CaaS. Consent in 2014/2015 was focused on the engagement of consumers using automatic and semi automatic consent options. These were designed in order to ensure that organisations appropriately captured elements of consent that added core value to the consumer and their personal insight round the quantified self.

These innovations focused round the technical and structural component of security round these consent processes as well as some elements of how informed consent was to be achieved using as an example the FRIES (freely given, reversable, Informed, Enthusiastic and specific consent) concept.

Summary of Year 2017/2018: A year of technical approaches to psychometric insight including OAAS and Genetics

Observations as a service uses a technical framework which is designed to ensure that data can be accumulated passively from the consumer in such a way as to avoid having to actively capture data. The process engages a BYOD (Bring your own device) approach connected with an IOT (Internet of things framework) which is designed to capture a significant amount of data on the activities of individuals who have an interest within the quantified self or who wish to optimise workplace dynamics without the need for social conflict surrounding highlighting potentially significant workplace scenarios.

This approach required the development of standardised IOT concepts including “Smart blocks,” and included work on behalf of a number of partner organisations.
In addition to Smart Blocks we have been developing core frameworks for identification of patterns within mental health so as to provide insight with which to create and support an environment of “psychometric equality.”

This work is supported by and continues the trend of research into consent as a service (CaaS) which began to engage new security protocols, integrating a containerised approach to the management of laboratory data as part of a new research initiative into improving further a secure by design approach which had been overcome via evolving techniques used to target clinical laboratories.

Genetics is considered in this year as a critical application of consent, the practices of 23andMe, Ubiome etc shaped and directed my research within this realm supporting an evolved technical framework.

What happens after God dies? After thousands of years of religious devotion, religious influence fades with less than 3% of children in the UK schools claiming that religion has an influence on their moral outlook. In his book “Creating God,” Andrew Cuthbert explores how profiling techniques could be being used in answer to the modern-day parent’s dilemma on how they will teach their children the principles of right and wrong in this new digital age. As church populations get older and older, Cuthbert theorizes the outcomes of the death of God in the traditional sense. Whether that God was Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, or Sikh, Cuthbert believes that traditionally, people’s strong religious belief in God is down to a real human need. In this book, he proposes a theory of “Gamification” as a potential candidate for how many of today’s youth will receive religion in this century. Cuthbert investigates how individuals and their new-found independence could take a new outlook on their lives to fit the new society. He advises caution over the consequences of this new outlook and proposes checks and balances for our society as it becomes more and more subjected to the influence of Artificial intelligence, and pattern analysis. As society becomes increasingly data driven. Cuthbert argues in a data driven society we are transferring some of the influence and abilities we would have associated with “god,” into the hands of people often in a way unbeknown to the wider population. https://www.amazon.com/Creating-God-Andrew-Cuthbert/dp/1512235032

Developing Resilient Organizations: How to Create an Adaptive, High-Performance and Engaged Organization Chapter on the impact of Big Data and the Fifth V

publication date Dec 3, 2013 publication description Kogan Page
publication description Big Data and The Fifth V

Overview of Book:
Much of the fear and uncertainty surrounding recessions is the adverse impact they will have on organizations and society. However, recessions are nothing new and past experience has shown that once countries have pulled through, some companies and individuals have not only survived, but thrived. They often emerge stronger, fitter, and better performing.

Developing Resilient Organizations argues that one of the fundamental keys to survival in these circumstances is resilience or mental toughness. The book addresses a wide variety of organizational issues including motivation, performance, staff retention, behavior, trust, attention span, and teamwork. With case studies from leading organizations across different industries internationally, authors Doug Strycharczyk and Charles Elvin explain how to develop organizational performance, well-being, and a positive approach to adversity and change in organizations.
