A summary of Greta Thunberg’s speech at Ted X Stockholm. Greta is the worlds most influential Teenager, and perhaps the worlds most influential person who identifies as on the “autistic spectrum.” In her Ted X Speech in Stockholm https://lnkd.in/evMkhdy Greta clears the decks of the argument that enough is being done about climate change and the degradation of the world’s landscapes. She challenges how little coverage the problem gets! The work started by activists in the 70s and 80s and continued by those of us who campaigned on the problems befalling our planet in the 90s, 00s and 10s. I hope we will be in the hands of Greta and a strong group of non conformists who will challenge the status quo. They push the philosophical boundaries and challenge the argument that climate change and extinction can be fixed from a small series of one-off innovations. They argue that we can’t just use social media campaigns to fix consumer habits and then brush it back under the carpet, getting on with daily life.
